New Church - Old Friends
Katie and I are moving on from The Rock and are tentetively going to be attending MillCreek FourSquare Church. This an exciting change because we are going to be involved in a place that appears to be a much better fit and on track with what feel God is trying to stir in our hearts. It is sad leaving though as we have lots of friends that we wont be "as" connected with because the loss of commonality, but as we like to think, we all go to one big church (Christ's Church) that meets in a different location and should have no problem keeping relationships intact. And a little added bonus, we saw a friend from CCF (Campus Christian Fellowship) @ Western who attends the new church, Chris Jaloki, yeah I butched the name.
More on our social life, we are making time to see our old friends as it is sad when life gets too busy to just hang out with people you love and have a great time with. Our weekend reads like something you'd see in an Executive's Day Planner:
Tonight we'll be enjoying some sushi from Chef Parsons!
Saturday Luncheon with The Melvards,
Followed by a Bridal Shower for the soon-to-be Mrs. Ranney
Then an evening visiting The Huizars
They are all good people and we are really excited!!
Speaking of good people, our little furry french friend is going to be coming back soon and we'll be able to see him back safe from Illinois (They have lots of Corn i'm told) where he felt that the cure for 4 years of College was 4 more in another state. That is it for this guy, i must actually do work now! Perhaps I'll hit up a new blog about work, then one about Family, maybe i'll go crazy and make an entire post about my new favorite cheezy show Doctor Who! Sounds exciting doesn't it? Oh what would you know, you're reading this!
